Store in a cool, dry, dark place away from heat, light and moisture. Do not store above the stove. Onion powder and onion flakes will keep for 6 months to one year if stored properly.



Dried Onion can be added straight to liquids, but should be rehydrated before being added to drier dishes such as casseroles and stirfries. Dried onions release flavor more rapidly than freshly chopped onions when added to a recipe.
