Cloves are readily available dried or in whole dried buds.
Store in a cool, dry, dark place. The whole cloves will
keep indefinitely. Ground cloves loose their flavor within
6 months to 1 year.
Add
ground cloves to gingerbread, cookies, applesauce, muffins,
cakes, and other spicy sweets.
Also add to barbecue and cocktail sauces. Throw in a few
whole cloves to bean and split pea soups to liven it up.

Cloves
are a spice native to Indonesia and cultivated in Madagascar.
Cloves are the dried flower buds of an evergreen tree that
are dried and become as hard as a nail and shaped much like
one.
They
can be ground and used to flavor baked goods, soups, vegetables
and sauces, or left whole and poked into roasted pork
or ham. Cloves are strong, pungent, and sweet, with a
warm flavor.
Before
you begin any exercise or diet program, you should have permission
