A spice and herb
blend usually containing paprika, oregano, cumin,
ground red pepper and onion and garlic powder. The
blend is used in flavoring a Southwest meat or vegetarian
bean dish called chili.
It is also good for flavoring beans,
barbeque dishes, sauces, soups, dips, mexican recipes,
macaroni and cheese, chicken, beef and fish. Chili
powder blends vary from spice company to spice company.
