Cayenne Pepper is
a hot, spicy powder ground from a bright red, extremely
hot tropical chilies. This spice has the
power to make any dish fiery hot but amazingly can
also be used for subtle flavor as well.
If you have never tried cayenne, use
just a small amount (1/16 to 1/8 teaspoon) in a
recipe to see if you like how it enhances a recipe.
Just remember that it packs a real punch, so use
with a light hand.
