Dried Cherry Cranberry Sauce
A triple source of cranbery goodnes - delicious!

Serves 16

• 1 - 12 ounce container frozen cranberry juice cocktail, thawed
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
• 1 cinnamon stick, broken in half
• 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
• 1 - 6 ounce package dried tart cherries*
• 1 - 12 ounce bag cranberries

Bring cranberry juice cocktail, water, brown sugar, cinnamon and allspice to boil in heavy medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.

Add cherries; cook 2 minutes. Add cranberries; cook until berries pop, stirring occasionally, about 9 - 10 minutes. Transfer to bowl. Cover; chill overnight. (Can be made 1 week ahead. Keep chilled.) Discard cinnamon stick. Serve cold or at room temperature.
