Green Beans with Carmalized Shallots
Simple and easy but delicious.

Servings: 6

• 3 bulbs shallots
• 1 tablespoons olive oil
• Kosher salt
• 3 cups fresh green beans, washed and stems removed

Peel and slice the shallots thinly. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and place the olive oil and shallots in the pan.

Sauté the shallots until caramelized, maybe 20 minutes.
Remove stems from the beans but leave whole. Steam them briefly until just tender but still crisp.

Toss the beans with the shallots and oil and season with salt and serve.
