Garlicy Green Beans
Wonderful served with most any entree.

Serves 4

1 pound fresh green beans, washed, ends trimmed
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
4 cloves garlic, sliced thin
Kosher salt to taste (or about 1/4 teaspoon)
Fresh ground black pepper to taste (or about 1/8 teaspoon)

Bring a large saucepan filled with 1 inch of water to a boil.

Lower a steamer basket filled with the green beans into it, tightly cover the pan, and steam for 4 or 5 minutes, until the beans are tender crisp. Drain.

Heat olive oil in a saute pan; add garlic. Cook until golden. Add drained green beans and salt and pepper to taste; toss well.
