Tangy Barbecue Sauce
The best of the best!

Yields: 1 quart
Approximate Serving Size: 3 Tablespoons

• 1 large onion, chopped fine
• 2 tablespoons canola oil
• 1/4 cup cider vinegar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 cups catsup
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 1 cup water (beer if you prefer)
• 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
• 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Sauté chopped onion in oil until tender. Do not brown. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Baste on meat after meat if nearly done or 30 minutes before serving. Great on chicken or most any kind of meat.
