Spicy Indian Style Turkey Burgers
Serve with cut snacking vegetables.

Servings: 2

• 1/2 cup plain lowfat yogurt
• 1/3 cup cucumber, seeded, chopped
• 1/4 cup sweet onion, finely chopped
• 1 medium fresh jalapeno pepper, chopped
• 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
• 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
• 8 ounces lean ground turkey

Make sauce by mixing yogurt and cucumber in a small bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Combine onion, jalapeno, mint, cumin, garlic and salt in a medium bowl, then add the ground turkey, mixing all ingredients well. Form turkey mixture into two flat burgers.

Grill burgers over medium heat on the rack of an uncovered grill for 14 to 18 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, turning once. Top each burger with sauce and serve.
