• 1 - 15 ounce can garbanzo beans, drained & rinsed
1 - 15 ounce can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 1/2 cups chopped and seeded tomatoes
1/4 cup snipped fresh basil
1/4 cup snipped fresh oregano
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

In a medium bowl, combine the garbanzo beans, black beans, tomatoes, basil, oregano, green onions, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes to 2 hours to allow flavors to blend.

NOTE: To lower sodium, you can used cooked beans.
