Why would anyone want to use a sponsorship program when they can sign up with an affiliate program or just use pay per click?

Pay per click affiliate programs are great if your product or service sells something via the Internet. However, many of the companies that would be ideal for advertising on our site do not sell something online. They have no reason to join an affiliate program. They are looking for branding or brand name recognition or trying to let a specific group of viewers know about a new "special product".

Since we are offering an extremely targeted audience to you, we feel you are getting the best advertising audience that you can get . . . viewers that are searching for your kind of product or service.

As an added bonus, our viewers trust our opinion. We often get emails asking us which food products we used in recipes or what food products are best in a line of products. We will not accept sponsorship for products or services that we cannot feel good about endorsing to our viewers!

Where would logos or banners appear?

A 120 x 600 pixel skyscraper will appear on the left of each page. The skyscraper will be on a rotator.

Would there be any special promotion advertising other other than the skyscrapers?

All requests will be considered. We retain the right of refusal if we think it is inappropriate or is degrading to the site. Good choices may be:

1. If you are in the health insurance industry, we could use some of your statistical information and give reference to your company for the use of it or say this information brought to you by . . .
   
2. If you are in the food products related industry, we could use some cooking information like "how to cook desserts with less fat using your brand name. This information brought to you by . . .
   
3. If you are in the fitness industry, we could use some fitness tips like "how to get the most out of your treadmill" this information brought to you by . . .
   
4. If you are in the food products industry. Using your brand name food product in the recipes that are listed. Using one of your recipes in the listing and using your brand name and a reference or link to your site
   
5. If you are in the food products industry, you may want to even have us put an ad on a recipe page and say "click here for more recipes by . . ." or "click here for more ways to prepare chicken with . . .".

Would ads be linked to web sites?

Of course; that is the whole point. We want you to benefit from our dedicated viewers. However, if you want it to be linked to a special page in your site, you must tell us. We will gladly link it to the page you want.

What else is offered?

Our readers are begging us to start a newsletter. Yes it is true. Some have already sent us their email addresses in anticipation of us starting one. It is on the next order of agenda. We hope to implement the newsletter in the next 3 months.

Standard sponsorship is $100.00 per month. If you would like to commit to one year, the price will be $1,000.00. You will save $200.00 and lock in the price for one full year.
