salt is not a herb, spice, or blend it is the most
widely used seasoning in the world. Salt is a mineral.
It intensifies, brightens, heightens and improves
the taste of every dish it is added to.
Most salt is ground into kitchen or
table salt from rock salt that is obtained by pumping
water into dried up sea caves and collecting the
brine that is pushed up to the surface. Iodized
salt is table salt with iodine added.
