Delicious addition to any party.


Serves about 3 1/2 dozen meatballs
(3 meatballs per serving)

• 3/4 pound extra-lean ground beef
• 3/4 pound ground turkey (93/7)
• 1 small onion, finely minced
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup panko (Japanese breadcrumbs)
• 1 cup ketchup (we used Heinz Simply Ketchup)
• 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
• 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 2 teaspoons dry mustard

Mix together well: ground beef, ground turkey, onion, egg and panko. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls.

Sweet and Sour Beef and Turkey Meatballs

Brown meatballs, in batches, in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove meatballs from skillet, and wipe skillet clean.

Stir together ketchup and next 4 ingredients in skillet; bring to a boil. Add meatballs, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink.
