Quickly sear the pieces over high heat to brown a few edges.
Combine brown sugar and mustard in 3-4 quart crockpot; add browned sausage pieces, and stir to evenly coat. Cover crockpot and cook on low-heat 2 - 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, until sausage is thoroughly heated and glazed.
Serve with pretzel sticks for pickup.
